Gorgeous women in their gorgeous knits

As a New Year project we're gathering together photographs of our customers wearing their various incarnations of our most popular style, the cocoon cardigan. Part snuggly cardi, part coat, they never fail to be a hit every season and (in the UK at least) are a wardrobe essential about 85% of the year. As you can see here, they go with everything and are extremely flattering. If you have one and want to be included in the project, please send us a photo of you in yours!

Recent coverage: Source magazine

Last summer I spoke to new local London magazine 'Source' for their A/W 2014 launch issue about knitwear and the challenges of running a business (challenge being the operative word, given that I was six months pregnant at the time and now have a five month old baby!). The magazine came out at the end of last year and is available to pick up free in local cafes, independent shops and bars around north and east London.

London Fashion Week knitwear round-up, part 2

Following on from yesterday's London Fashion Week knitwear round up, here's our pick of the best from day 4. Pieces by Jonathan Saunders, Mulberry, Christopher Kane and Pringle. I loved the Peter Pilotto offering so much, I couldn't pick just one. See four of their incredibly covetable knits below.

Interview: My Chic City visit the studio

My Chic City came by the studio recently to chat with me about the brand, as well as raiding my wardrobe. I'll admit I was a little apprehensive about being in front of the camera (I'm far more comfortable behind the lens), but those guys are so easy to be around, I enjoyed it more than I thought. Here are a couple of shots the girls took using my iPhone. You can see the rest and read the interview on MyChicCity.com.

Interview: 5 minutes with Amy Hall

Ella Catliff set up her blog La Petite Anglaise while she was interning in Paris, in order to record her exploits and thoughts on fashion in the capital.  Now that she's back in London she covers all the fashion weeks and blogs about anything in the industry that catches her eye.

She interviewed me a couple of weeks ago and you can read what I had to say here.

Latest press coverage: The London Look

We're very pleased that The London Look have, perhaps unsurprisingly, chosen our London dress for their Stylist Pick of the Week.  There is also a brief interview with me (the second one is as many weeks - I'll be boring you all to death soon), which you can read in full here.

Knitted tree warmer

We drove past London Fields on our way out of town for Easter on Thursday evening and saw this extremely chic tree. It's wearing its very own jumper - a 'tree cosy', if you will - complete with pom poms. Amazing.

Wolf and Badger: the window

Ruby from my press team came with me to Wolf & Badger for a meeting this morning and we were thrilled to see the Antwerp sweater on one of the mannequins in their window - we especially loved the styling and think it's a great little outfit, perfect for their Valentines theme.

How to dress as a summer cyclist, according to Vogue...

Vogue.com did a piece back in May called How to Dress as a Summer Cyclist and I started to read it thinking it was going to be ridiculously impractical and unrealistic (this wasn't helped by the first image they used, see left - I mean, can you really see either of those models cycling off into the sunset after that shot was taken?!).

Whenever bloggers or magazines shoot girls on bikes they always look very 'fashion' - short shorts with diaphanous blouse and mega wedges. Great if you're getting papped, not so good if you're cycling around London trying to get safely from A to B.

Anyway, as I read on I saw that most of the girls Vogue had spoken to did actually have a fairly practical approach to cycling, with most confessing to having a preference for jeans & flats, with Agyness Deyn saying that her one MUST is to always wear a helmet. They may make you look like a total dweeb, but they're a necessity.

Whenever I'm off somewhere on my bike (and owing to my hatred of London Transport, I pretty much cycle everywhere unless it's tipping down with rain) I'm always in a quandary about what to wear. I'm far too lazy to wear one thing and change when I arrive at my destination which means that, while I love a pair of 5 inch heels and tailored shorts, you'll pretty much always catch me in jeans and flip flops when I'm on my beloved bike. And ALWAYS in a helmet!
