New press coverage: Absolutely magazine

Our Arambol shorts feature in this month's Absolutely magazine, on page 31. They're very complimentary about the collection as a whole and had the following to say:

"Knitting is officially cool. Dalston-based knitwear designer Amy Hall’s stylish, hand-knitted pieces are big sellers at Wolf & Badger. She and her team use high quality, predominantly British yarns to knit a wide variety of pieces that go far beyond the simple jumper or scarf, and it’s not all about a winter warmer either. The new collection takes inspiration from Goa, with a yellow Anjuna vest, Hampi joggers, Marari gown and these lilac Arambol shorts (left). It’s knitwear, but not as you know it."

SS13 shoot - behind the scenes

Yesterday, in the midst of all the London Fashion Week madness, we shot the Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook.  It was a fantastic shoot, with all of the pieces looking absolutely stunning on our gorgeous model Roxanne (who you might recognise from the current series of Sky Living's Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model).  I thought I'd share a few sneaky behind-the-scenes shots with you all, but watch this space for the final looks....

Inspiration: Carine Roitfeld

These stunning images are from a photo shoot Carine Roitfeld styled for the March 2011 issue of Vogue Paris.  The colours leap off the page and have filled my head with ideas for the SS13 collection.

Where it all began, part 4

This shot of my great-grandmother is one of my absolute favourites. This one isn't even about the knit, although I'd wager that she made that one, too. It's her brilliant pose (that fish!) and the gorgeous dress she's wearing (which my mother assures me she also made herself).

It's such a beautiful, rich image and I find it really inspiring, especially now that I've started researching and gathering ideas for my SS13 collection.
